Fall Fun!
I am so basic when it comes to fall. Seriously - leggings, boots, pumpkins, pumpkin patches - every single thing about fall is my favorite - well minus Pumpkin Spice Lattes - hate them! Weird I know but I had my first and took one sip and threw it out yuck!
So of course I wanted to share some of our fall fun over the past few weeks. I also promise to post pics and a recap of the new house - everyone's been asking I've just not taken the time to snap pics yet!
We visited pumpkin patches too many times to count this fall - and had fun at even single one! Bengston's by far was our favorite. It's hilarious I remember going there before we were even pregnant - jus tChris and I - on a Saturday - and it was swamped. I remember saying holy smokes I will never bring kids here it's way too crazy. We've been there three times this fall and love it! We just pick off days and week days to go and have had no issue. We've also spent tons of time on the nice days at the zoo, we spend at least one morning a week at the Dupage Children's Musuem (our have!) and have visited the Arboretum a couple of times as well.
I highly recommend to anyone with little ones to take advantage of memberships to some of your local and favorite places. For instance - one visit to the Children's Museum out here for Casey and it was $24 - we instead bought a year long membership for $100 and have easily been a dozen times since we moved in the last 6 weeks. It's perfect to kill a morning or afternoon and Ceej just loves it! Same with the Arboretum - he loves just running and crunching leaves right now and it gets us both out with some fresh air and Vitamin D! Such a cost effective way to stay busy with your littles!
